Welcome
Immigrant workers have become a critical and rapidly growing component of the economies of virtually all the countries in Western Europe. Providing much needed labor for business segments such as agriculture, manufacturing, and many service industries; these workers are typically legal, surprisingly well paid, and long term residents of their respective adopted European countries.
From a variety of regions around the world, these workers become well established in their new surroundings. However, they also remain closely connected to their friends, families, and home country cultures.
ICC provides a range of technology-infused communications and entertainment services, as well as ethnic-centric products to this rapidly growing and diverse market segment.
About ICC
GLOBAL VILLAGES
“Leveraging Global Technology and Soft-Good Assets Through Personalization and Entertainment”
ICC Worldwide
“Providing ethnic-centric products and services”
With principal operations in Italy, ICC Worldwide is a provider of specialized and highly focused products and services to the large and rapidly growing immigrant worker communities of Europe. More than 30 million immigrant workers live in Europe today. With over 3.5 million individuals in Italy alone, this explosive demographic represents a huge market for:
  • Communications Products – in-store phone services, mobile phones, prepaid phone cards
  • Internet Services – email, video conferencing, residential broadband connections
  • Financial & Document Services – money transfer, government document assistance
  • Entertainment – home-country music, movies, and IPTV-based TV programming
An extensive network of small ethnic-focused retail stores currently serves the needs of the immigrant worker population in Italy today. Independently owned & operated, these stores serve only the needs of their local ethnic customers. In fact, in any given locale there will be separate stores (often within steps of each other) serving only their surrounding home-country patrons. These immigrant workers are used to shopping at the 4,000+ independently-owned communication and alimentary stores operating in Italy today.
Without disturbing the sensitive ethnic focus of these communities, ICC is bringing a comprehensive range of products, modern technology, efficient delivery, and contemporary merchandising techniques to this well established market. ICC’s network of company-owned “anchor” retail stores in conjunction with the extensive network of established independent “satellite” retail stores provides an ideal distribution network for ICC’s products and services. Addressing this market, ICC’s regional warehouse distribution sites provide the foundation for a business that incorporates technology communication center hubs, as well as, a comprehensive inventory of specialized soft-goods. ICC’s warehouse centers, including storage containment and inventory control mechanisms, allow for cost-effective and time-sensitive wholesale distribution to this extensive customer base. Employing efficient, well-stocked warehouses, modern merchandising techniques, and highly competitive pricing, ICC has rapidly established a leadership position in this large and rapidly expanding market.
Focusing on this highly specialized market, ICC complements the interactive, technology—infused communication centers with ethnic-centric goods and services including, but not limited to—food and beverages, entertainment products, phone cards, internet, phone and email portals, specialized money transfer services as well as other legal documentation services—all packaged and designed to enhance the lives of the prideful recipients.
Creating the Environment
“ICC’s Global Village”
These specified, quality and beneficial products connect the immigrant worker to his homeland through interactive global communication while providing an environment that reflects their nationality—with creature comforts and social networking connecting them to their heritage.
With instantaneous technology, the world has truly become a global metropolis, yet there can be a sense of isolation and detachment.
ICC’s goal is to create an environment—provide a place, a “global village,” for customers to physically interact and technologically connect on many levels.
The Opportunity
“Untapped Ethnic Retail Market”
A remarkable, untapped opportunity exits to deliver specialized communication, entertainment and ethnic-related products and services to the extensive population of immigrant workers currently residing in Italy.
A well established Italian network of more than 4,000 local phone stores serve the communication needs of the immigrant worker community. Few immigrants have phones in their residences. Some own prepaid mobile phones, but these are expensive and not suitable for international calls. Ethnic groups live and work in close knit communities where necessities are shared. They send 20 to 30% of their income home to their families. However, a surprising amount of disposable income is still available to spend on communication with families, entertainment, clothing and other discretionary incidentals.
Communication services and products used daily by this market sector include neighborhood phone centers, prepaid phone cards, prepaid mobile phones as well as internet cafè type activities including: email, IM, Skype, and simple web cam based video conferencing.
ICC Retail Outlets—Business Strategy
“Poised to Compete”
The basic ICC business model is well established and has been evolving for several years.
These consortium stores are customers of the wholesale warehousing and distribution business operated by ICC Italy. Currently, an initial compliment of ICC anchor stores are operating in conjunction with an extensive network of affiliated “satellite” stores.
ICC Structure & Vision
“ICC’s Strategic Path”
ICC operates a strategic set of company-owned retail sites in Italy. These stores directly service the communications, entertainment, and specialized ethnic product needs of their customers in the surrounding immigrant communities. However, the majority of ICC’s revenue is generated by the firm’s wholesale distribution business. The distribution company sells a wide range of specialized products and services to a large, well established network of independently owned ethnic-focused retail stores across Italy. Utilizing a tiered structure, the firm’s operations are distributed across several layers.
U.S. Parent Company—ICC Worldwide
Headquartered in Corona Del Mar, California, ICC Worldwide is a publicly traded parent company for two wholly-owned European subsidiaries:
  • Italian Management Company—ICC Italy

ICC’s direct retail operations are headquartered in Mantova, a historic city in the Northern Italian region of Lombardy. ICC Italy’s mission is to develop and operate a network of ethnic-oriented “anchor” stores. The anchor stores are staffed by operators who sell the firm’s products and services directly on a retail basis.
  • San Marino Distribution Company—ICC San Marino

ICC’s wholesale operations are headquartered in the Republic of San Marino. Europe’s third smallest state, San Marino is a 61 sq km enclave (1/10 the size of Manhattan) which is located in central Italy. The distribution company sells ICC’s array of products and services to a vast (more than 4,000 sites), well established network of independently owned ethnic stores throughout Italy. The group also provisions ICC’s anchor stores.
ICC’s Anchor/Satellite Store Concept
ICC’s anchor stores are operated by respected and experienced ethnic businessmen within their respective communities. Each anchor store operator also assists in the identification and establishment of a regional network of “satellite” stores in the surrounding communities.
With modern, more cost-effective communication (VOIP) and internet capabilities, the anchor stores are larger than traditional ethnic phone stores. They offer more products with lines of fully stocked items and employ contemporary in-store merchandising tools. The anchor stores are a showcase for ICC products and services and serve as a model for the network of satellite stores that are affiliated with each. In cases where products are not stocked by satellite stores, anchor stores serve as showrooms for satellite operators.
ICC supports each anchor store and satellite operator with products, training, merchandizing, technical and marketing assistance. Frequently ICC also assists the operators with specially developed bank financing for equipment and expanded inventory. In many cases, the satellite stores are exclusive and therefore do not sell competing products.

Strategic Partner Relationships
ICC has developed s key partner relationships with some of the largest telecom service providers in the world. The steps we have taken to maximize and leverage ICC's resources and expertise properly positions ICC's reputation and credibility among our partners while demonstrating ICC's commitment to our customers and shareholders.

ICC's focus is on a very specific vertical market- supplying much needed telecommunications products and services to the European immigrant worker community. This is a large and surprisingly underserved segment with many millions of end user customers that have money to spend, and well established channels of distribution. The opportunity to initially develop this market segment in identified areas of Italy; and then to expand our niche throughout Western Europe, provides ICC with a clearly-defined market-driven partner strategy.

ICC has made significant strides developing and cementing reseller relationships with the major telecommunications carriers in Italy: Telecom Italia, WIND and Vodafone. These organizations understand the significance of the immigrant worker market, and appreciate the expertise and value-add which ICC brings to the table for all parties.

Through our vision and strategic investment, ICC has quickly established itself as the 'expert' in serving the needs of the foreign worker community. Our partner relationships are the cornerstone of our future. They will allow ICC to grow rapidly as the communications industry moves quickly forward.
